In 1997, Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak launched its first chronograph, a chronograph movement just under 5.5mm thick, combining a classic case shape with a mechanically inspired chronograph display, making it one of the favorite watches of watch lovers. With a diameter of 41 mm, the recognizable octagonal case has been brushed and polished to provide an excellent sensory experience. On the side of the watch, there are two chronograph pushers and an octagonal crown engraved with the Audemars Piguet "AP" logo, giving it a unique brand identity. The caseback is hermetically sealed and houses Audemars Piguet's Calibre 2835 automatic movement, which is only 5.5 mm thick, consists of 304 parts and has a power reserve of 40 h. It is mounted on an 18-carat pink gold bracelet.
