New from the V6S factory, IWC introduces the first steel bracelet version of its classic new Portuguese Chronograph. For the first time ever, IWC has equipped this classic timepiece with a steel bracelet, adding a touch of flexibility and spontaneity to the IWC Portuguese Chronograph. The bracelet is polished and brushed to a high degree of precision and elegance, while the butterfly folding clasp gives it an ergonomic fit and a delicate, comfortable fit on the wrist. The new model with a steel bracelet is housed in a stainless steel case and houses IWC's robust and precise in-house caliber 69355 chronograph movement with a classic column-wheel design, which can be viewed through the sapphire-glass caseback. The efficient bidirectional pawl-winding system provides a 46-hour power reserve.

As one of IWC's best-selling favorites, the Portuguese Chronograph has been a sporty and business-oriented watch since its inception, and its styling hasn't changed much in more than 20 years.
At Watches & Wonders, IWC presented a "special" new model, the Portuguese Chronograph, equipped for the first time with a steel bracelet. The new Portugieser is equipped with a steel bracelet with brushed sides and polished center links, and a butterfly folding clasp that fits the wrist more delicately. Compared with the alligator strap commonly used on Portugiesers, the steel bracelet is more sporty and durable, able to withstand humid environments, perspiration and salt water, and can meet the needs of wearing in more scenarios.
